How to create an account on Toppin?
Welcome to Toppin. To start enjoying this app you need to create an account. We explain below all the possible ways for you to start giving Matches.

IOS

Can I register without having a Facebook account?

At Toppin we have several forms of registration, so it is not necessary to have Facebook to enjoy our App. Since if you do not have a Facebook account you can register using a Google account, an Apple account or your email. And to enjoy!

How can I edit my profile?

To change data or information in relation to your profile, go to the pencil icon and start editing your information. You will be able to change the photos, edit your biography, sexual orientation, include your gender, add different personal information and link Toppin to Spotify and Instagram.

This way the people you meet on Discovery will be able to get to know you much faster and know if they are interested in you!

How can I set my search preferences?

You can customize the feature to discover new people. Go to settings and decide through the filters what type of profiles you want to see. Distance, age and gender are some of the filters you can select.

This way you will have more possibilities to fit in with your next date!

What if I've been restricted on Toppin because of my age?

Profiles under 18 years of age are not allowed. So you cannot register on Toppin if you are under 18 years of age. If you haven’t reached this age yet, don’t worry, we’ll be happy to see you when you do!

Filters and search parameters

How do the filters work?

This feature will allow you to view different profiles of people based on your search filters and select the profiles you like the most by swiping the image to the left or right as per your choice. In Toppin you can choose if you want to be seen or not and you can still use the filter function

Can I search for a specific person on Toppin?

You cannot search for specific people within the app unless you have previously had a Match with that person. You can find it in your Matches list and write its name in the search engine.

How can I send a message to someone?

To be able to chat with other Toppin users you must have had a previous Match, that is, both of you have said that you like each other.

How to report a profile?

At Toppin we care about the safety of our users and for this reason we offer you the possibility of reporting a profile if this person has violated any of our policies or you think they are misusing the application.

Under each person’s biography you can find a Report button, we will review all reported profiles one by one in order to provide security to all Toppin users.

How can I undo a “Like” or “Dislike”?

Do you regret giving a Match or has the opposite happened to you and do you want to “like” a profile that you had already discarded? For this we put at your disposal the Rewind function.

You will have this function available if you subscribe to our Premium plan. With it you can undo a “I like it” or a “I don’t like it”.

MATCHES AND MESSAGES

How to send a message to a Match?

Once you have managed to Match with another user you can start chatting. You can find the person in the Matches list and from there send them a message.

Unmark Matches and send reports?

If you want to undo a Match you can do so by opening the chat with that person and at the top of the chat page you will see three dots, clicking on it will open a menu in which you will see the option “Undo Match”.

If what you want to do is report a Match, you can do so by opening the chat with that person and at the top of the chat page you will see three dots, clicking on it will open a menu in which you will see the option “Report”.

How do I report a profile?
If you want to report a profile that has appeared on the app’s home page, you can do so by going to their profile and sliding down. An option will appear where it says REPORT PROFILE
Have I undone a Match by mistake?

Undoing a Match is a permanent action and unfortunately cannot be redone.

PROFILE AND ACCOUNT SETTINGS

Selfie verification, how does it work?

You will have to take a selfie by making a gesture with your hand, the same one that appears on the screen of your mobile. We will ask you for this in order to verify your profile and to know that it is you who is actually using your account.

How can you edit your profile?

If you want to edit any data or photo of your account you can do it within your profile in the app. There you will find a pencil icon, and clicking on it will open all your profile options available for editing.

You can edit it as many times as you want!

How can I delete my account?

If unfortunately you want to delete your Toppin account you will have to access Your profile – go to Settings – Delete account.

What is photogenic verification?

Photo Verification allows you to verify your profile, thus proving to potential Matches that it is really you who appears in the photos. This is done in order to provide security to all users of the app.

INTERESTS

How do I change my search preferences?

If you want to change the filters to find people more in tune with you, you can do it from your profile. If you follow the next route – Icon at the top right – Filters – You can define your preferences by distance radius, age, gender, tastes, etc.

How to manage your notifications?

If you want to manage your notifications, activate or deactivate them, you can do it within Profile > Settings > Notifications. There you can activate and deactivate the notifications that you want or do not receive and everything related to them.

How does Instagram link to your profile?

If you want to link your Instagram profile with Toppin’s you will simply have to enter the settings within the app and click on link your Instagram account.

Once linked, other users will be able to see your Instagram photos. This way they can get to know you better.

Can Spotify connect to your Toppin profile?

Yes, you can share all your music from Spotify. So people who find you can know if you share musical tastes. Go to settings and link your account.

Once linked, other users will be able to see your Spotify lists so they will know if you share musical tastes.

Without a Spotify account, can I link music to my profile?

No, unfortunately the only way to share the music you like on your profile is through Spotify.

What does it mean that a profile is verified?

A verified profile is a profile that has successfully passed our identity verification method. A mark will appear that will let anyone who visits your profile know that it is really you who is using the account.

How can I request a verified profile?

If you verify your profile, other users will be able to see that it is you who is really managing your profile, which will add a plus of security to your possible Matches, for some people it is a decisive factor when choosing who to “Like”. So we recommend that you check it out.

You can verify your account within the app in Your profile > Verify your profile > Follow the steps.

Can I restore my Toppin purchases?

Yes, even if you change your phone you can recover your purchases with your App Store or Google Play account. So you will not have to start the purchase process from scratch.

How can I upgrade my current Toppin subscription?

If you want to upgrade your Toppin subscription to a different one, you can upgrade or upgrade the type of subscription you have, you just have to buy the one you want to have now and it will be replaced by the old one.

What are the accepted payment methods?

If you want to get one of our Premium or Supreme subscriptions to be able to access more functions within the app, you can pay through your Apple Pay and Google Pay account.

PROBLEM RESOLUTION

I can't log in to my account.

If you’re having trouble logging into the app, these troubleshooting steps can often help with logging in issues:

  • Check if you have a good internet connection, or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa to determine if the problem is related to your connection
  • Delete and reinstall the app. Not only will this update you to the latest version of Toppin, but it will also update your experience in the app, which should get things working as intended again.

If the problem persists, we want to know about it. Contact us and describe your problem in as much detail as possible, so we can analyze and resolve it.

My account has been disabled.

If your Toppin account has been closed, you’ll see a message letting you know when you try to log in. At Toppin we close accounts when we detect activity that violates our terms of use. If you think it is an error, you can contact us and we will try to solve it.

I want to update the email address associated with my account.
Follow these steps to update the email address associated with your Toppin account:

  1. Open the Toppin app
  2. Go to the profile icon
  3. Select Settings
  4. Search for Account Information > Email
  5. Follow the instructions and you can replace your email with a new one.
The app crashes.

This can be a bit exhausting at times, we know. But, we are going to help you! It may be for one of the following reasons:

First make sure you have a good internet connection, or switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa to determine if the problem is related to your connection.
If the above doesn’t work try Delete and Reinstall the app. As well as updating to the latest version of Toppin, it will also update your experience in the app, this should get it working properly.

If it is a technical problem, surely we are already at work trying to solve it. It is a matter of waiting!

How can I find out the email address associated with the account?

If you have forgotten or want to know the email address associated with your Toppin account, you can find it under Settings > Notifications > Email. The email you registered with will appear there.

PROBLEMS WITH PAYMENTS OR BILLING

I can't restore my purchase.

Subscriptions may be associated with only one Toppin account at a time.
If you see an error message that says, “Your subscription is currently linked to an existing account,” that means you already have an active subscription and it’s not the account you’re currently logged in with.
If you want to use a subscription on a new Toppin account, you will first need to delete your old Toppin account. If you delete your account, it will permanently delete all your Matches, the messages and all the information associated with this account.

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. Scroll down and select Delete account.

Once this account is deleted, you will be able to buy the subscription with your new account without any errors.

Have you recently changed your device?

If you have changed mobile platforms, i.e. moving from iOS to Android or vice versa, we recommend that you cancel your current subscription and subscribe again on your new mobile device. It will be easier for you to manage the subscription.

Still having problems?

If it still doesn’t work, you can write to Toppin support and we’ll try to help you as quickly as possible. Send us a screenshot with the error message that appears and we will try to give you a solution as quickly as possible.

How can I cancel the subscription?

You must take into account the following aspects:

· Removing Toppin from your mobile will not cause your subscription to be cancelled, so you will need to follow the steps below if you want to avoid further charges in the future.

· Even if you cancel your subscription you will be able to enjoy all its advantages until
finish the subscribed days that you need to finish.

· Even if you cancel your subscription this does not mean that a refund of the
payments and fees already paid previously.

How to cancel?

Depending on the platform you have used to subscribe, you will have to follow some steps or others.

In case of being from an iPhone device

1. Opening the Settings of your iPhone

2. Click on your name, and then on the “Subscriptions” section

3. Select the subscription you want to cancel

4. Tap “Cancel Subscription”

In case of being from an Android device:

● If you paid for the subscription using your Google Play Store account:

1. On your Android phone, open the Google Play Store app.
2. Then click on the “Menu” icon and go to “Subscriptions”
3. Choose the subscription you want to cancel
4. Tap “Cancel Subscription”

● If your subscription payment method was by credit card:

1. Open the Toppin app for Android
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Select “Manage payment account”
4. Click on “Cancel subscription”.

I'm having trouble canceling my subscription.

Depending on the platform the steps will vary, so you will have to make sure you follow the corresponding steps.
Enter your App Store or Play Store account – Profile – In the “Subscriptions” section you can manage the subscriptions you have. If you have a Toppin subscription, a button will appear that says “Cancel subscription”.
From then on, nothing should be charged again, although you can continue to enjoy the advantages of your subscription until the end of the cycle.

I have duplicate or incorrect charges.
iOS

If your phone is an iPhone, you can contact Apple Support and let them know what happened.

Transactions are handled directly by Apple, including refunds.

Android

Does your order number start with “GPA”?

● Then it was through Google Play from where the purchase was processed.

We recommend that you contact Google Play support to
inform them of this problem.

BILLING ON IOS AND ANDROID

I canceled a subscription but was charged again
Make sure you have successfully canceled your Toppin subscription. If you don’t want any more charges to be charged in the future this will prevent it. This is how subscriptions are canceled on both iOS and Android devices:

iOS
1. In your iPhone Settings > [your name] > iTunes and App Store
2. At the top of the screen, tap your Apple ID, and then select “View Apple ID” (you may be prompted to sign in)
3. Scroll down and tap “Subscriptions”
4. Choose which subscription you want to manage
5. Click “Cancel Subscription”

Android
– If you subscribed using your Google Play Store account:
– Go to play.google.com website
– Check if you are logged in to your Google account correctly.
– On the left, click on “My subscriptions”
– Choose which subscription you want to cancel.
– Click “Manage” and then “Cancel Subscription”
– If you subscribed by credit card:
– Open the Toppin app for Android
– Tap the profile icon
– Select “Manage payment account”
– Press “Cancel Subscription”

How to update your billing information?
From the platform you used to subscribe you can update your payment method (Apple Pay or Google Pay). The instructions will vary depending on the platform you use to make the purchase.

iOS
● If you want to update your billing information from an iOS device, go to the
Settings app, select iTunes & App Store, click your Apple ID, and
tap View Apple ID & Billing Information.

Android
● If you made the purchase using your Google Play Store account, tap the purchase icon
menu in the Google Play Store, then tap on My Account and select “Add
payment method” or “Edit payment method”
● If you made the purchase by credit card on Android, enter the app of
Toppin, tap on the profile icon and select Manage payment account.

The payment method I am trying to use is not working.

These are the most common problems with payment methods
● Typos: Please note that all letters, numbers, and any digits
that you use must be identical to those of your credit/debit card.
● Use of gift cards, prepaid cards and certain debit cards: Yes
purchase a subscription, gift cards, prepaid cards and
Certain debit cards may not accept recurring payments.
● If you have problems with the billing address: Have you changed your home
Recently? Do you have to update billing information? Check that the information entered regarding the billing address is correct.
If the problem continues, you can check the payment methods accepted by the App Store (iOS) or the Google Play Store (Android), depending on your device.
View payment history.

If you want to see your payment history, you can do it in your iOS or Android account within your profile on either of these two platforms. Depending on which one you used to pay for your purchases, you can find it in one or the other.

If you made a purchase using your Apple ID, you can find your payment history by following these steps:
1. Open iTunes on your computer
2. Sign in with your Apple ID and click on your name in the upper right corner of the iTunes window
3. Select Account Details from the dropdown menu
4. Scroll all the way down until you get to Purchase history > See everything
5. Click on the arrow that appears to the left of the purchase date and you will be able to see the
details of a purchase.
If the purchase was made from a Google Play account, you can see your payment history by following these steps:
1. Go to the pay.google.com website and sign in using your Google Play account
2. Find Other Purchasing Activities
3. Select View Purchases
4. Choose a specific order and you will be able to see your receipt

PROBLEMS WITH PAYMENT FUNCTIONS

I can't access my Toppin subscription.
If Toppin doesn’t recognize a subscription you have in the app, please restore the purchase.
The Restore Purchases feature helps you maintain access to your subscription every time you delete and re-create your Toppin account, when you buy a new phone, or in other situations where the app doesn’t recognize your subscription. Follow the steps below to try to restore your purchase.
Restoring a purchase maintains access to the subscription if you change mobile phones, delete and create a new account, or any other case where the app does not recognize your active subscription. Here are the steps to restore the purchase.
How did you make the purchase? With your Apple ID or with the Google Play Store?
1. Open Toppin
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. Swipe down and to Restore purchase

Important: Restoring your purchase will not create a new transaction; it will simply re-link the existing and active subscription with Toppin.

Problems turning off Power Sweet
PowerSweet

PowerSweet activation: you just have to open Toppin and click on the blue battery icon on the main screen.
If you want to know how many PowerSweet you have left tap on the profile icon and take a look at the counter at the bottom of the screen.

Technical problems?

If you’re trying to use Boost but you’re having trouble, please write us a message with the exact details of the problem or send us a screenshot clearly showing the problem you’re having so we can help you.

I have a Toppin subscription and have not received my monthly PowerSweet.

If you have recently renewed your Toppin subscription, it will not affect your waiting period to receive the next PowerSweet. The 30-day waiting period is based on the last time you used your free monthly PowerSweet, not on renewal or restoration of a subscription.
When you use your free PowerSweet, you will have to wait 30 days to use your next free PowerSweet, unless you decide to purchase a set of additional PowerSweet.

I have used a SuperSweet but I have not achieved any mutual “Match”.

The SuperSweet are there just for that, to give that boost that every profile needs. You will appear to people in your area much faster. You will increase the chances of finding that connection you long for!
The number of times your profile will appear will increase up to 10 times more with a SuperSweet.
Although Superweet as such cannot guarantee a Match, they are very, very effective in helping you get one. Even after it’s over
You will know that you have achieved a Match thanks to SuperSweet because a yellow Star will appear indicating it.

The Super Sweets, PowerSweet, read receipts etc… Will they disappear if I create a new account?

Unfortunately item purchases as well as subscriptions cannot be transferred from one account to another. If you delete an account where you had purchased items and create a new one, they will be lost.

I received a notification that someone sent me a Super Sweet but I don't see it in the app.

If you received a notification about a Super Sweet, open Toppin and swipe to find out who gave you that Super Sweet. Their profile may not show up first, but it will show up with a yellow star icon at the end.
If you subscribe to Toppin Premium or Toppin Supreme, you will be able to find out who gave you that Super Sweet.
Keep in mind that sometimes a Super Sweet can be sent by mistake (it can happen to anyone), if the person who sent it uses the Rewind function they can undo it. Therefore, this could be one of the reasons why you do not see the Super Sweet that you have received the notification about.

I can't change my location with Destinations.

If you’re trying to change your location and can’t, try checking your mobile phone’s connection to the Internet. If this is not the problem, please try again in a bit. If the problem persists, contact us.

PROBLEMS WITH MY PROFILE AND SETTINGS

I'm having trouble deleting my account
If you are trying to delete your Toppin account but you are having problems, here are the steps you need to follow to proceed with the deletion of your account:

1. Open the Toppin app and sign in
2. Tap your profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. Scroll down and click “Delete account”
If you need help you can contact us and we will try to help you.

Technical issues related to account deletion

If you get an error message when trying to delete your account, check your internet connection. If the problem is with the app, have a little patience and it will be solved soon. If the problem persists for a long time, contact Toppin and we will try to help you as soon as possible.

My account is under investigation.

If your profile receives several complaints from different users of the application, we will investigate your account to see what the reason is or what is happening with your profile.
During the investigation, we will look for violations of our Terms of Use or Community Rules. If your profile has not violated any of Toppin’s policies, you will be allowed back in as usual. But if any of your behavior has violated our terms, we will take necessary action, one of which is the possibility of permanent ban from Toppin membership or account deletion.
If your profile research hasn’t been completed yet, it’s only a matter of time; We will try to do it as soon as possible.

Problems with photo verification.

If you’re having trouble with a particular pose, you can always back out of the photo verification page and start over to bring up another gesture to perform.
If you need more help with the poses or are having any other issues related to photo verification, please let us know by contacting us.

My name or age is wrong.

Once you have created an account the name and age details cannot be updated or edited.
If you have had a desistance and you have made a mistake putting your date of birth, or if you need to update your name, what you can do is delete your account and start from scratch again.
Keep in mind that if you delete it, you will unfortunately lose the Matches, the messages, and all your purchased items (Super Sweet, Boosts, etc.) and other information linked to your account.

Follow these steps to delete your Toppin account:
1. Open Toppin
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account

If you have a Toppin subscription, you will be able to restore it and use it again on your new account. Follow the instructions on how to restore a purchase to your new profile.

I can't update my profile.

Are you changing information or data on your profile such as photos, songs or biography and they do not save?
Check if it could be a problem with your internet connection and if not, delete and reinstall Toppin.
This will also cause it to update to the latest version of the app. So it should work as usual again.
If it still doesn’t work, contact us and let us know what happened. Tell us about your problem so we can take care of your case as soon as possible.

I can't upload photos to my profile.

If you’re trying to upload a photo from your mobile phone, make sure you’ve given Toppin access to the photos on your device. If you haven’t done so yet, you can enable access from your mobile settings.
Try again later if you see that the problem continues

Why has my photo been removed from Toppin?

There are times when we remove content from Toppin to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for everyone. If you see that a photo or video on your profile has been removed, it means that a violation of our Terms of Use has been detected. We ask all users to be respectful. Please, review our Community Rules so you can take it into account every time you go to upload content to your profile.

The information of my work and/or study center is not updated.
From the app you can directly edit and update the information related to your work and study center.

1. Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the home screen
2. Select Edit information
3. Scroll to the Current Job or Study Center sections

I am not receiving any push notification.

If you have stopped receiving our push notifications, it is probably a temporary problem.
Just in case, we recommend that you verify that you have notifications correctly enabled within your device’s Settings – Notifications.

How to enable push notifications on your device?
On iOS devices: Open the iOS Settings app, select Notifications, then Toppin.

On Android devices: Go to device settings, select Notifications, then App notifications and Toppin

Enable notifications in Toppin
1. Open the Toppin app
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Select Settings
4. Scroll to Notifications, there you can enable them if you don’t have them.

PROBLEMS WITH DISCOVERY

I don't get any profiles on Discovery.
To get more potential Matches on your Discovery page try increasing your search preferences. Adjust Discovery settings with these steps:

1. Open Toppin
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. In “Discovery Settings” you can change the distance ratio or the interval of
ages.

Are you having technical problems?

Make sure your Internet connection is working properly. Yes yes it is doing it try to delete and uninstall the application. This will update the app to the latest version of and will also update your Toppin experience, so things should work as normal.

I'm looking at profiles that I've seen before.

If a profile has appeared on Discovery that you had already seen before, it is likely that the person has deleted their previous account and has opened a new one. You may also get a profile again if you had a bad connection when you swiped in the app.

The profiles I see are far away.
If only some of your potential matches are far away, this could be happening for a number of reasons:
● Destinations: There may be people who have this action activated to find Matches in your location. If you recently visited a city, you may continue to appear in the location of where you have been for up to 24 hours after you have left. Only Toppin subscribers can edit their location.
● Destination settings: You can check and edit your distance preferences. Y
thus decide at what radius of kilometers you want or not to find people. Simply
you have to touch the profile icon > Settings > Scroll down to Destinations and there you can see and change the maximum distance you have configured.
If you think that it may be a rather technical problem, you can try following these steps to try to solve it:
● Sign out and sign in: tap the profile icon > Settings > swipe down and tap on the
“Logout” button.
● Delete Toppin and reinstall it.
The profiles do not match my gender or age preferences.
If this started out of the blue, check that you’ve configured your search preferences to your liking.

1. Open Toppin
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to your Settings
4. Scroll down to Discovery Settings
If everything is set up correctly, log out of Toppin and log back in.

I can't upload photos to my profile.

If you’re trying to upload a photo from your mobile phone, make sure you’ve given Toppin access to the photos on your device. If you haven’t done so yet, you can enable access from your mobile settings.
Try again later if you see that the problem continues.

I have denied Toppin access to my location

At least while you are using Toppin it will be necessary for you to give us access to the location of your mobile phone.

Location in IOS

● Go to your iOS settings > Toppin > Location

Location on Android
● Go to your phone settings > Apps > Toppin > Permissions > Location

PROBLEMS WITH MATCHES AND MESSAGES

One or more of my Matches have disappeared.

If some of your Matches are no longer there, it is very likely that if there are one or a few that have disappeared, the profiles have deleted their profile or have undone the Match.

All my matches have disappeared
If all your Matches have disappeared, the best thing to do is to log out and log back into the app in order for this to be fixed:
1. Open Toppin
2. Tap the profile icon
3. Go to Settings
4. Scroll down and tap the Logout button

It’s a matter of time (and effort) to find interesting connections and people. Here we leave you some tips so that your profile draws more attention to possible “Matches”
1. Upload new photos and update your bio, your profile will have a fresh look.
2. Try to make your photo with the most “likes” appear first so you will attract more people
3. Connect your Instagram and Spotify accounts to your Toppin profile, so your Matches
they will be able to know what things you like and you will be able to connect faster.

My Matches keep loading all the time.
Try these steps if you find that your Matches aren’t loading or are taking too long to load:

● Check if you have a good Internet connection, you can try to change from mobile data to Wi-Fi, and vice versa, maybe the problem is related to your connection.
● Delete and install the app. This will not only update you to the latest version of
Toppin, but it will also update your app experience, which should
get things back to work the way they should.
With this the problem should be solved. If this is not the case, then it is very likely that the system has crashed and we are already working to solve it. We will appreciate your wait.

My messages are not being sent.
We know that chat-related issues can be frustrating. But they usually last a short time. As soon as we find out, we fix them. In the meantime, there are a few steps you can take to try to resolve it:
● Check the internet connection and switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data or vice versa, maybe the
problem is connection related.
● Delete and install the app. Toppin will update you to the latest version, and it will also update your experience in the app, after which it should work fine again.
● Once you are inside the app again, send the message again.

○ On iOS: Tap the red exclamation mark next to the message you’ve given
failed.

○ On Android: Tap the message to try sending it again.

I have undone a match by mistake.

It may happen that you accidentally undo Match without realizing it. But whether you undo or your Match undoes it, it will be a permanent action that unfortunately cannot be redone and will no longer appear in the list of either of the two profiles.

Photos from my Matches are not uploading.

You can try to log out and log in if you see that the photos of your Matches are not uploading even though they have been around for a long time.
To log out: go inside your profile and if you scroll down you will see the “Log out” button.
Now you just have to log back in and check if they now upload their photos.
